Bipartite Meeting Results for the period of April - June 2020
PT. Hyun Dong is one of many factories that had to close their businesses due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PT. Hyun Dong is likely to close down their business permanently. Mediation related to this matter is being conducted with the relevant Regional Manpower Office. The mediation meeting conducted on 18-20 May 2020 and the results are as follows:
- The company will no longer operate during June and July 2020, and is likely to be permanently closed
- Regarding wages in the period of workers laid off, no agreement has occurred, workers only receive 15% of their wages. Trade Unions and company management are still in the negotiation stage where workers who are represented by the Trade Union insist to get 30% of wages for May 2020, and 100% of their wages for June and July 2020
