The Riau Islands Provincial Government has officially set the Provincial Minimum Wage value for 2024 at IDR 3,402,492. Based on governor Riau Island No 1282 of 2023, the 2024 minimum wage increased by 3.76% compared to the previous year.

Regency/City Minimum Wage in Riau Islands 2024
The Governor of the Riau Island has announced the stipulation of City/Regency Minimum Wage for all Cities and Regencies in the Riau Islands Province. From this determination, it is known that the minimum wage for Batam City is the highest with an amount of IDR 4,685,050. The minimum wage in 2024 in the Regency and City of the Riau Island Province will increase by around 1-4%.
