The Job Loss Insurance (JKP) PP 37/2021

JKP is organized based on the principle of social insurance with the aim to maintain the degree of a decent life at a time when workers lose jobs.

President Joko Widodo has published the official rules for the implementation of the program the Job Loss Insurance (JKP) for workers who are victims of termination of employment (PHK), on February 2, 2021.

That provision is the newest program in the BPJS Employment, namely the Job Loss Insurance (JKP) that has been decanted and passed to the Government Regulation (PP) No. 37 in 2021 on the Implementation of the Program the Best Job Loss. This rule is derived from Act (ACT) No. 11 2020 about the Copyrighted Work.

1. WHAT ARE THE TERMS OF MEMBERSHIP JKP?

Membership of workers/laborers in the program JKP consists of the already included and new be registered. Condition, the workers/laborers is Indonesian citizen (WNI), has not yet reached 54 years old when registering, and have a working relationship with employers.

2. HOW TO LIST JKP?

3. HOW DUES JKP?

Dues program JKP must be paid every month by 0.46 per cent of the monthly wages of workers/laborers. About 0.22 percent of the amount of the dues will be paid by the government. The rest, paid by the funding source JKP which is a recomposition of the dues program JKK and PENSION that had previously been there and apply in BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Dues JKK direkomposisi 0.14 percent and dues JKM 0.1 percent of wages per month.

4. HOW TO PAY DUES JKP?

5. WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF JKP?

6. WHAT IF EMPLOYERS DID NOT REGISTER THE WORKERS/LABORERS TO THE PROGRAM JKP, BUT DO LAYOFFS?

7. WHAT HAPPENS IF EMPLOYERS DELINQUENT DUES JKP UP TO 3 MONTHS IN A ROW?
