Factory Improvement January 2019 – March 2019

Mutual agreement between the Management of PT. Hari Mau Indah and Trade Unions as of April 2019:

• PT. Hari Mau Indah does not have a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) yet, however they have Company Regulation in place. After conducting DecentWork survey, bipartite meeting with management, and Focus Group Discussion, there were a number of changes in the articles regulated in Company Regulation related to BPJS Healthcare, BPJS Employment, and leave. For example: Now, workers can immediately seek treatment at a clinic designated by the BPJS Healthcare, while before the company implemented a reimbursement system.
• About 75% of workers in PT. Hari Mau Indah (regardless of the employment status) are gradually registered to BPJS Healthcare and BPJS Employment
• Suspension of wages is not recorded in the Provincial Wages Council, but there has been an agreement with the Trade Union that the company pays their worker below applicable Regencies Minimum Wage, and the agreement is registered with the industrial relations court.
• There is a written minute of the meeting signed by the two parties regarding the topic discussed and approved the agreement at the bipartite meeting between Management and Trade Unions

Factory Improvement September 2018 - December 2018

Some achievements of the mutual agreement between the Management of PT. Hari Mau Indah and Trade Unions as of November 2018:

• Workers have been included in the Social Security Program, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan gradually
• There will be a revision of the Social Security Program Worker data (duplicate data and false data from the previous registration)
• Workers who are laid off will receive severance payments in accordance with applicable regulations, and will not be unilaterally terminated by the company.
• The factory will apply for exemption of the Minimum Wage payment obligation, in the form of Suspension in a procedural manner according to Ministerial Decree Kep-231/Men/2003
